There is plenty of reports of virus's that clamav can catch that
clamwin cannot so I must disagree with you on this.

I am not bashing the clamwin interface, I just do not think that
clamwin is the holy Grail of virus scanning and I would prefer to go
with another design possibly something developed by clamav.net - I am
not a big fan of forks and subprojects as they tend to get
unmaintained and can hurt the reputation of the main project.

Great idea - it is better that we work as a team instead of creating
3-4 different implementations of a filter driver - just give me some
info were I can obtain your code and I will test it and give you some
feedback.
