While abstractly I understand the difference between codecs and containers/formats, everyone always talks as if its easy for end users like me to choose the underlying codec of their container formats. If there were some way for me to flip a switch on UYVY versus YUYV ordering, or mjpeg versus yuv2, then I would *love* to know about it.
