Thanks, Paul. I'm feeling pretty much stuck at this point. I have the BlueMax49ers cable which appears to work fine its not Mark's fault CHIRP doesnt have a working software for the FTM-3100R. RTSystems is proprietary and wont work with non-RTSystems cables. Is there any other programming software anyone could point me to that I can investigate?
By the way, I'm not being critical of the CHIRP team. It's a wonderful software and I get that they can't cover every radio in the world. I use it for my Yaesu FT-60R without problem, and it is super useful. Is there some way I can help CHIRP develop the FTM-3100R implementation?
