Chirp works okay with Orca in Linux, but it's too different, like the concept
of selecting columns to change a row, or is it the other way around?
I don't mind typing in a few things, but I have to do it all with arrows and
that is difficult for big files.

Your problems mostly have to do with using Excel. It introduces errors.
You can also edit in CHIRP. How's CHIRP for screen reader?
