Side note on this: I managed to format one of these RD54's, then used 
the TK70 to boot up BRUSYS from tape and restore a backup of my main 
ESDI system TALOS.

RD54's are slower than ESDI. But it does work, and now I have RSXM+ 
running on two systems with TK70 drives for backup and file exchange :-)
