Hi James, my notes say for Linux "CCP4-8 source download from https://www.ccp4.ac.uk/download8/#os=src and unpack, cd checkout/libccp4; ./configure; make install"
and "compile CCP4 7.0 for Mac (to obtain static libraries for xdsstat): edit cj.rc and specify gcc and gfortran as CC and FORTRAN. Then ./build cmake;export BUILD_STATIC=1; ./build ccp4-osx (according to Eugene one can also build single libraries e.g. ./build mmdb. xdsstat only needs libccp4f und libccp4c." but I didn't re-compile CCP4-9 so far; its source does not seem to be available. Probaby the sftools from CCP4-8 will do for your purposes. Incidentally, recently scaling of more than 2^31 reflections with XSCALE was found necessary for one project; that required INTEGER(8) instead of INTEGER(4) in some places of the code.
