Hi Peer,

I agree with Clemens, and would just add that as far as I know,
proteindiffraction.org and SBGrid require that you have a deposited
structure at the PDB (please correct me if I'm wrong). Zenodo allows upload
of anything, so it's good for data sets for methods development, testing,
and perhaps gifting unsolved data sets to the world. One downside is that
there is no convention for how to structure a Zenodo upload for MX. This
adds some slightly unFAIR challenges. As Clemens said, please add to the MX
community to mitigate this if you choose Zenodo.

Also, recently I learned about Raw Data Letters (
https://iucrdata.iucr.org/x/services/rawdataletters.html). It would be
worth writing one of these associated with your upload.
