Dear all, We would like to inform you that the Call for Proposals (regular proposals) is now open for DESY beamline P11 at the PETRA III synchrotron in Hamburg. This call relates to remote and onsite access during the run period January-July 2023.
The deadline for submission is -------------------------------------------------- 1 September 2022 until midnight local Hamburg time (UTC+2) -------------------------------------------------- Proposals are to be submitted via https://door.desy.de For the first time, DESY offers beamtime for regular proposals with strong socio-economic impact, complementing the standard type of proposals with scientific impact. The socio-economic aspect of the proposal has to be elaborated as outlined in the proposal template; submission as proposal with socio-economic impact has to be confirmed in DOOR. Your proposal will then be considered for the review of the socio-economic impact in addition to the scientific evaluation. We offer various focusing modes with beam size from 5 x 10 um (flux 1 × 10^13 ph/s at 12 keV at the sample position) to 200 x 200 um. Broad energy range from 5.5 - 28 keV and Eiger2 16M detector. Fast sample changer cycle (20 s) with storage capacity for 23 unipucks (368 samples) and remote access.
