A RESEARCH ASSOCIATE POSITION (MSc or PhD) is available at Baylor College of
Medicine in Houston, TX in the research group of Professor Francis Tsai. The
successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team investigating the
structures and mechanisms of stress-response proteins in protein quality
control. We combine structural analysis techniques with biochemistry to
understand mechanisms to maintain proteostasis in health and disease. The
successful candidate must be highly motivated and will have proven expertise in
biochemistry or structural biology. You must hold a MSc or PhD in biochemistry,
enzymology or structural biology and have a demonstrated track record in
conducting high quality original research. Experience in molecular biology and
protein expression/purification is essential and knowledge in biochemistry
and/or protein crystallography at the postgraduate level is desirable. Salary
for postdoctoral applicants is commensurate with experience and pegged to the
current NIH scale.

For further information and informal enquiries please contact Professor Francis
Tsai https://www.bcm.edu/research/labs/francis-tsai. To apply, please send your
