Hi Matt, Check to make sure the A280 filter is clean. Ours was filthy. You might need to replace this (~$350). We were experiencing the same thing you mentioned and just had the GE technician out today. Also, make sure the A280 dial is set correctly on the lamp. Please check the manual for guidance.
