Hello,
I have a slightly different suggestion which we have found works best
and cheap. We have taken old (non-working) refrigerators and place them
inside the cold rooms *"but never power them"*. Since they are
refrigerators they have a good insulation to start with , have trays to
place crystal plates, and don't suffer from rapid changes in
temperatures as people walk in and out of the cold room. If you need you
can even ask a/c personnel to get rid of freon and the compressor. They
even hold the temperature bit longer in the event of short power failure
of the cold room.

We are planning to buy an incubator for 4deg crystallizations. Currently
we are using our cold room, but the temperature deviates a lot when
people go in and out of there and the fan is quite strong. Does anyone
have one to recommend?
Thanks for any suggestions,
Catrine
