Hey Shai,

Remove the "default" keyword and just type in "auto-cost reference-bandwidth
1000". Whilst the CLI seems to accept your command, it doesn't do anything.

Cheers,

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_SP] Weird thing under R6 of the SP Pod (not 7200/ATM)

I am currently running some technology labs on the SP POD and it seems that
the IOS used on R6 does not support (no error - some kind of IOS glitch)
this command under the ospf process - "default auto-cost reference-bandwidth
bandwidth"

a few examples -

R6(config-router)#default auto-cost reference-bandwidth 1000

R6(config-router)#do sh run | b router ospf

Anyone else noticed this?

It seems you can issue the command - but it does nothing.

I think it's the IOS - but maybe I am missing something

Any thoughts anyone?
