Hello Marko,
usually I exchange only labels for "important" prefixes. That would be
loopback addresses of PE routers or route reflectors.
Depending on the target network, I ether redistribute them into IGP or
signal them using iBGP.
I prefer redistribution for "grown" networks (exising network spanning
multiple PoPs).
I prefer iBGP signalling for small networks with a controlled
structure (single PoP).
BTW I documented my playing with CsC and Inter-AS here <http://mpls.brest-lab.net/pages/27.html
> and here <http://mpls.brest-lab.net/pages/28.html>
Best regards,
/Markus.

Hello everyone,
In order to keep this list alive, one has to post on it from time to
time. So, here goes small discussion starter.
I was having one discussion about interprovider VPN's the other day.
Discussion was about amount of labels advertised between participating
autonomous systems.
How do you guys (and girls) solve these questions in scenarios you are
working on? Do you advertise labels for prefixes, or you usually limit
labels to just what is required (as a mental excercise, what would
that be)? What do you do then - do you redistribute into IGP, or make
an all-BGP solution? Post your ideas and thoughts on a subject.
