Hi Fulvio,Yes I came across exactly the same behaviour a few weeks ago: router eigrp xdistance 169 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 1 Any routes in access list 1 that were D Ex routes, remained with Admin Distance of 170. To affect external routes, I had to use: distance eigrp <internal AD> <external AD> Not sure if it was teh same lab or not, but I remember having to go back, remove static routes, add loopbacks and run EIGRP on them. The task is to create 3 > static routes to null 0 on R7 and advertise them in EIGRP on the LAN R5 - R6 > - R7. I decided to do this by redistributing the routes. The task also says > that R5 should know these routes with an Admin Distance of 95 whilst R6 with > an admin distance of 96. Did my access-list, my distance command, nothing, > admin distance 170. I took the redistribute off R7, did it with network > command under router eigrp and bang, distance changes on R5 and R6. I have > tested it a couple of times to convince myself.
