Hi Joe, It's probably because of the fact that they already had 3550's in the v3.0 track and only replaced what they had to.
I am using some 3750's in my lab at work and have not noticed anything in the 3560 and wasn't in the 3750, so it's probably safe to use the 3750 in place of the 3560. The 3550 is missing my things that the 3560/3750 provide.
