@Hammer - The .56.x subnet is not tagged but the switch port is in access mode so it shoud work.
@Tyson - Most likely that is the explanation, some code issues. Anyway, I broke the rules a little bit and used a trunk with untagged native vlan 56 on that switch port so I could carry on with the lab, so case closed :) Thanks for all the feedback.
