I was wondering about an alternate solution; would we meet requirements if R5 and R6 were in the same AS-Confederation. in other words they both have "router bgp 65413" in their configs. R2 could still have an iBGP neighborship with R4 and eBGP with R6 (I guess I could have picked R5). So in this alternate solution R6 would use send updates to R5 as an intra-confederation update. So R6 would relate BGP information to R2 and and R2 sould cascade information since it was learned via eBGP. It seems to me that for this task both options would work (this alternate + the solution guide). Regards, Ray
