The only problem I see is that it would cause a thicker darker crust on the cake.

Cast Iron is may favorite way to cook, and I have made some really good cornbread with cast iron. My question is, has anyone tried to bake a layer cake with cast iron skillets. Just wondered how it would turn out. I know for years they were used to make upside down cakes. Any thoughts? _________________________________________________________________ Try amazing new 3D maps http://maps.live.com/?wip=51 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Yahoo!
