Hi Janny,
There are several other ways besides greasing and using flour. I am a Wilton Instructor and Wilton sells Cake Release. All you do with this is squeeze the bottle into your pan and then take a pastry brush and brush the entire pan. Depends on how big/small your pan is how much you will need. I've used this before and the cake really comes out easy. Also, there is Bake Ease. This comes in a can and all you do is spray your pan with this. I like this option as well, less things to clean up. In grocery stores they sell Bakers Joy and it also comes in a can and all you do is spray your pan as well. I have never really tried using a spray or greasing my cupcake liners. I never have any problems getting them out. I have used cooking spray to spray my foil papers when I do a certain type of flower in the lilly nail that uses royal icing. I hope this helps. Happy Baking, Sandy Spires --- "Janny B.
