Dear JD, I saw from your subsequent post that you're ok with the new behaviour, but feel that it could be better documented. It would be of great assistance if you could prepare a documentation suggestion, as described here: http://www.lilypond.org/doc/v2.15/Documentation/contributor/documentation-suggestions Once we have that one of the bug squad can raise an issue tracker and the doc authors can get to work.
