Comment #15 on issue 1562 by pkx1...@gmail.com: using \sans on Windows gives 'gs' error (2.13.53) fails to compile
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1562

Jan, there is no gs.exe.

That is when I download from here

http://downloads.ghostscript.com/public/

and pick the 32 bit exe for windows in the bin dir there is no gs.exe but gswin32.exe

So yuo get

for future compatibility
Interpreting music...
Preprocessing graphical objects...
Finding the ideal number of pages...
Fitting music on 1 page...
Drawing systems...
Layout output to `/Users/jlowe.DCSW/Desktop/test.ps'...
Converting to `/Users/jlowe.DCSW/Desktop/test.pdf'...failed (0): gs: Failed to execute child process (No such file or directory)

success: Compilation successfully completed

and the dlls are named differently too. The tar files just contain source it looks like, so I don't know what else to do or where to get gs.exe in this case.
