Thanks for writing this. I have to admit, I was a little offended last
night myself. I realize that the work I have been doing is minimal and not
exactly "important" or beneficial for the project. I also realize that I am
clueless and probably ask a lot of dumb questions. But these types of tasks
do get me an entry into the code without doing any real damage and I am DAMN
tired of talking, talking, talking on IRC and mailing lists with very few
actually DOING anything to progress the project.
I, for one, very much appreciate the help that you and Samuel (and others of
course) have given me and I hope that me getting in and doing "stupid" work
can motivate more smart people to start digging into the code more.
