[quoted lines by Rob Meredith on 2008/08/22 at 12:54 -0400] >I think it would be awkward, but people would probably get used to it.
I'd rather not do it if it's awkward. Since neither shift nor control means anything with space, we could make pressing those keys on their own, i.e. without any dot keys, be space, and pressing them with dot keys mean shift and control. Would that be too confusing? >Along a similar line, I am not getting any codes for F1 through F4, and these >keys exist on the Connect 12 and the Connect 24. I wonder if strategic use of >these keys could help. Where are they on the device? How easy is it to press them in conjuction with other keys? >Or, perhaps other Baum displays don't provide these keys and that is why they >are not supported in BRLTTY? Yes, that's why. That doesn't mean we can't use them, though. I, as usual, am always wide open to suggestions. -- Dave Mielke | 2213 Fox Crescent | I believe that the Bible is the Phone: 1-613-726-0014 | Ottawa, Ontario | Word of God.
