no one, i could have remained a renter for the rest of my life, chose not to
pay 8% interest, and never becoming a home owner... fortunately, i was able to
sell before the balloon payment became due and the market collapsed, and use
the capital gains to pay cash for a house in eureka. just plain dumb luck.
