Every since I've been back at my parents, there's been a lot of noise
coming from the attic above my bedroom. Sometimes there's the sound of
scratching, other times a series of loud bumps or a series of clicking
footsteps. We'd assumed that it was birds, because a few years ago some
had broken in and we'd had to scare them out and then block up the
holes they were using. A couple of days ago I went up there to check
for damage and found that it was actually squirrels. There are at least
two of them up there and they seem moderately tame. Now we're trying to
figure out the best way to deal with them - I certainly don't want to
poison them.
