It was very funny, and I got it! The real funny
thing is how much we (or we'uns - that's plural, Jonathan!) in the South are so
misunderstood. I can't seem to understand why our opinions, no matter how
innocent, are always taken as an insult. Perhaps its because you just have
to BE Southern to truly understand Southern reality. (Roughly
translated: Southern reality is actual reality versus everything else)
Keep your chin up! And yes, Jonathan, I realize my last sentence ended in
a preposition - it was intentional. I liked the rules about the South -
and there are many more ... but that's a big enough dose for
now.
BUT - I thought this was a Ralph Stanley forum!?! I'd
much rather discuss Ralph and Carter Stanley's historic contributions
instead of arguing differences in the South and the north. If anyone has
any comments on that, I'm always ready to talk Stanley.
