@Quentin, interesting, sadly I don't speak French so can't check out that association you mentioned in Paris, but I will say in Britain, though we have plenty of equality based legislation, social equality for blind people is very much not there yet, and sadly the RNIB are so orientated towards the elderly it's not funny.

I based my thoughts about the decline of tabeltop games around the fact that we've found nearly nothing.

there are larp events as you said, that is live roleplay, but Larp does not interest me since I do not want to roleplay as a blind person and have the same limitations on my character choice as I do in reality.

In terms of roleplaying, since my lady and I have wanted so badly to find a group, we've done a lot of research, and found bugger all, even from those places you'd expect to have active tabletop rp groups, EG shops that sell Rp supplies, or my brothers Ccg playing friends, but have had no luck whatsoever, despite searching fairly intensively for the past three years.

Perhaps in some of the really large cities like London it is more common, but even in university towns, the interest just doesn't seem to be publicised, as opposed to wargames and ccgs which are far more regularly advertised, hence me concluding that tabletop role playing is falling off, which as I said, is bloody depressing.

All the best,

Dark.
