I also have the Olympus, i don't remember the model, but as I connect it
by the usb cable, I installed the program I got with the recorder, and it
transfers the files pritty well... I think I don't understand well what all
that with the patch cord is about, but nevermind, excuse me...

What recorder do you have? How do you connect it to the computer, like
a flash memory or via the usb cable?

Subject: [Blind-Computing] a question of transfer
I have a digital voice recorder that I use for taking many of my
necessary notes.
I'd like to transfer these notes to appropriate folders on my computer.
Is it as simple as using a patch chord and which port to go into?
