Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 14:00:00
Total observation time: 7 hours

Official Counter: Andrew Sturgess

Observers:

Weather:
A falling barometer hinted at the turbulent weather to come this afternoon.
The birds took notice and gave the day a pass. Starting with blue skies and
ending with billowing clouds and the sound of thunder, the unusually hot
and humid day was unproductive in terms of bird movement.

Raptor Observations:
Very few birds took the opportunity to move with only a handful of birds
during the mid-part of the day. Sharpies and TVs, the usual suspects.

Non-raptor Observations:
Billowing clouds of biting flies were present today to make the day even
more miserable. The highlight of the day was when I realized I had netting
in the trunk of the car to give some protection to my bleeding legs. It was
that kind of day!

Predictions:
Higher SW winds with somewhat lower temps. A chance of thunderstorms in the
afternoon. Falling barometric pressures.
