Johnstone for doing a count today...and a couple of visitors... B. Wright and E. Esseltine. Weather: Instant replay of yesterday but even hotter with highs reaching into the mid 30's C and even low 40's with the humidex. Winds were again light from the E then swinging all the way around to the SW. Raptor Observations: Not much movement today with just 6 birds tallied...a lone N. Harrier, Sharpies (4) and a single A. Kestrel. Non-raptor Observations: A few other observations including RT Hummingbirds, Gray Catbird, Red-bellied Woodpecker, BC Chickadee and A. Goldfinch. Predictions: Tomorrow looks to be the same again with temps in the mid to high 30's C and light to moderate winds from the W and SW.
