Just a heads-up that conditions remain good for shorebirds at the West Perth
Wetlands (a.k.a. Mitchell Sewage Lagoons), so anything could turn up.
Yesterday (Sunday) afternoon I counted an amazing total of 118 White-rumped
Sandpipers among the 225+ shorebirds of 10 species.
The marsh/meadow vegetation around the lagoon edges yielded 8 sparrow species,
and waterfowl numbers continue to build.  I also had a flock of 20 Rusty
Blackbirds and few pipits.

Directions:  West Perth Wetlands is at the bottom of Wellington Street, south
off Highway 8 in downtown Mitchell, ON.  (As Steve Thorpe once said, "No
permits, no fences to climb, just good birding!")
