From: [email protected] Subject: Fish Crow at Bronte Date: Sat, 7 Apr 2012 23:24:22 -0400 A fairly large group of about 20 Birders were looking for the Fish Crow at Bronte from about 3pm to 6pm this afternoon. At about 6pm the group dispersed without seeing the bird.Jim Dowell and I remained behind talking and at about 6:15 pm the Fish Crow flew in and perched for about 20 minutes on the bare snag on the tall tree where it had perched on prior days, and called several times.Fred Urie also saw it and got photos. It took me three attempts to see this bird....just proves persistance pays off! Jerry LocationDirections: Exit the QEW at Bronte Rd. (Oakville) and go to the lake.
