Hi Ontbirders:
A trip out to Andrew Haydon Park saw up to 8 green-winged teals (at least 2
males in breeding plumage), a good number of Scaup like last Fall and 2 Brant
geese. Last ask I had seen 2 Brant feeding on the grass at the RA Centre but
have not seen them since.... the 2 here at AHP could be the the same two. All
mentioned birds were seen in the western most pond at Andrew Haydon Park.
Although I did not see it this afternoon, others had mentioned a red-breasted
merganser as well. Thanks.
