Birder

I just (1440) had a male Golden-winged Warbler on the "Hub Trail" about 100
yards east of the entrance to the trail at the east end of Northern Avenue. It
was with a mixed flock of warblers and vireos just about at the end of the big
curve at the base of the hill. Twenty species of warblers on the "Hub Trail"
between 1030-1430 hrs.
Small flocks of warblers every where.

Golden-winged Warbler is very rare in Algoma and neighbouring Michigan. This is
my first record- probably one every 3-5 years or so.
