To update everyone on the status of Cranberry Marsh Raptor Watch of late-- weather conditions have been terrible for hawks to migrate along the lakefront since Nov.6. Indeed,
this is the first report that I have sent since Nov.22
Today, Nov.26---light S winds, rising BP, overcast sky, no thermals brought only 2 raptors--drizzly weather limited the numbers of people coming to the platform of late.
----SEE TABLE BELOW for the migrating raptors to date. We shall close down the formal aspects of CMRW on Mon., Nov.30. I WISH TO THANK EVERYONE WHO HELPED WITH THE COUNT THIS YEAR. MY RECORDS SHOW THAT 106 PEOPLE WERE PRESENT DURING THE COUNT SINCE AUG.22---INDEED, I KNOW THAT MANY MORE MISSED BEING PLACED ON THE DAILY PAGES, PLUS SO VERY MANY VISITORS.
