Raptor Observations: The flight was somewhat anemic early in the day, but picking up by the noon hour and continuing steady but light until the end of the count. Numbers overall were similar to yesterday but a shift in species numbers was noted with Broad-wings, Kestrels and Sharp-shins being the most numerous. Non-raptor Observations: Monarch numbers were even more impressive than yesterday with dozens visible during a single scan of the sky at most times over the course of the day.
