The Buff-breasted Sandpiper that was first seen at Presqu'ile last week has now been joined by a second bird (or else the first one left and was replaced by two). They were on the algae flats around Owen Point this morning. To reach Presqu'ile Provincial Park follow the signs from Brighton. To reach Owen Point watch for the sign indicating "Owen Point Trail" and follow the trail to the end. The birds were first found this morning at Lookout #3 on that trail.
