Hi Everyone
Still lots of Great Gray Owls around! After Amherst drove straight to
Ottawa area for a quick run through the known GGO sites. Spent about 1.5
hours and was surprised to find 24 owls still here, 5 along Huntmar Road
near Richardson Side Road, 1 along March Road near Marchvale Road, 8 along
March Valley Road, 3 along Dunrobin Road near Thomas Dolan Parkway and
finally 7 in the Kilmaurs Side Road/Dunrobin Road area. Also, I saw one just
east of Perth along Hwy. 7.

Directions: From Ottawa travel west bound on Hwy. 417 to the March
Rd./Eagleson Road and exit right onto March Rd. Follow to Klondike Road and
turn right. Go east to March Valley Road and turn left or right.. Follow
along making
numerous stops scanning the fields. Late afternoon to dusk maybe the better
time to look.
>From Ottawa travel west bound on Hwy. 417 to the March Rd./Eagleson Road and
exit right onto March Rd. Follow to Dunrobin Road and turn right continuing
northwest through Woodlawn. At the hill continue straight and follow to
next intersection, Kilmaurs Side Road which has a yellow flashing light.
