The Hawk Owl in Bolton was sitting on a wire opposite Wendy's on Highway 50 at 10.15. It flew at 10.25, the moment I turned my back. Direction of flight not noted. Wendy's is just north of railway bridge.

No sign of the waxwings on Patterson Rd.in Palgrave. From the Q.E.we drove north on 427 to Hwy 7 then left to Hwy 50 right here to Bolton. This owl may heve flown from the east side of 50 to the west side in the vicinity of 5 Rd.a short street going east from 50 just north of the bridge.Good luck.We spent over an hour cruising the area before John spotted it.
