Thanks to Bill Brown for helping with the count today :) Weather: Gusty SE winds with 60% cloud cover and otherwise sunny. Temps to mid 20's again today. TUV=2 (Poor) Observations: Very small flight today as expected especially with strong SE winds and a poor Thermal Updraft Velocity (TUV). Very few passerines around today...a few Monarchs and the usual Dragonflies. Predictions: The awaited cold front that's been hanging out to the west is forecast to pass through the Lower Great Lakes tomorrow. This will mean unsettled weather tomorrow with possible rain and westerly winds. This will likely result in a small flight. However, things look really good for Friday , Saturday and Sunday with fairly strong N - NE winds and fair weather. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Dave Brown ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Hawk Cliff Hawkwatch information may be found at: http://www.ezlink.on.ca/~thebrowns/HawkCliff/index.htm Hawk Cliff Hawkwatch: Oldest Hawkwatch in Ontario - since 1931 - located just east of Port Stanley on the cliff overlooking Lake Erie
