This morning I found a Juv WILLET at Dundas Marsh.
The bird was feeding in a large muddy pool right out
near the willows. Also there this morning

Willet 1
Pectoral Sandpiper 1
Spotted Sandpiper 1
Solitary Sandpiper 2
Greater Yellowlegs 6
Lesser Yellowlegs 1
Semipalmated Plover 1
Killdeer 30
Virgina Rail 1
Great Egret 18
Carolina wren 2
Belted Kingfisher 3

To get to the WILLET, take the south shore trails of
Cootes Drive. Walk down the left hand side of spencer
creek and go over the metal bridge. Then turn left
and follow this path untill you get to a muddy pool on
your right. You cant miss it as there are hundreds of
dead fish laying around. The path had several fallen
trees and is not easy to walk along. Be very quiet as
you aproach because the path goes very close to the
pool.
