Tried unsuccessfully for the Dunneville Cattle Egret Tuesday, 7 - 8 pm. The home owner reported that the bird was present on Monday night, and that the bird tend to come and go with the flock of Canada Geese also previously reported. Therefore, it is possible that the bird may return.
If planning to try for this bird, please note the King Road run North from REGIONAL ROAD 3, and not highway 3 as reported in at least one post (unfortunately for me that was the one I used for directions). King road runs N off Haldimand-Norfolk Rd 3 (Lakeshore Rd.). This is about 2 kms east of entrance to RockPoint P.P. The pond is just behind the first (and only ) farmhouse along King Rd. The cattle were in the pasture at the corney of King Rd and H-N#3. Jason Miller Guelph
