On Sunday , August 29th Ken Cohen and I had 13 species of shorebirds at Rock Point Provincial Park plus Black-bellied and American Golden Plovers at the turf farms along Regional Route 3. The big find was an immature Lark Sparrow on the beach at Rock Point. We observed the bird at very close range for about 10 minutes using both binoculars and scopes. Ken tried to get a picture but was not successful. The shorebirds
were basically the same as reported by Mike Hamilton for the BOS trip.

Rock Point Prov, Park is 3 miles southeast of Dunnville on the Lake Erie shoreline.
The turf farms are along Regional Route 3 just south of Poth Road.
