Eastern kingbirds, Least flycatchers, Eastern phoebe, Woodcock, Snipe, Caspian
and Common terns are all being observed daily in the area. There are a few
beautiful Rough-legged hawks still hanging around.

There is a Blue Grosbeak in the vicinity of Maple Square Mall in Port Elgin.
It was observed for about 10 minutes before being flushed by a passer-by. It
is working the backyards just south of the mall. The mall is located right on
Highway 21 in Port Elgin
