Hello all:

The latest species distribution maps from the Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas are now available at http://birdsontario.org/atlas/map.jsp.

The maps show amazing changes in status for many species (see for example, maps of Red-headed Woodpecker or Merlin) thanks to the data provided by Ontario birders.
If you're not yet participating in the atlas, there are only two field seasons
left (2004 and 2005). Please join us in making the Atlas the best it can
possibly be as a tool for birders, scientists and bird conservationists.

See our web page (www.birdsontario.org) or call us toll free at 1-866-900-7100
to find out how you can help.

Cheers,

Mike
