The warm front of last night brought in a variety of new arrivals at Selkirk
Provincial Park around the banding station in the SW corner of the park this
morning although there were not great numbers. On the warbler line found
were Nashville, Yellow, Black-throated Blue, Yellow-rumped, Black-throated
Green, Palm, Black-and-white, Ovenbird, Northern Waterthrush, Hooded and
Common Yellowthroat. Other birds of note were Red-throated Loon, Spotted
Sandpiper, Least Flycatcher, Blue-gray Gnatcvatcher, Gray Catbird,
Blue-headed Vireo, Warbling Vireo White-eyed Vireo and Baltimore Oriole.
Selkirk Provincial Park is located SW of the village of Selkirk off the
Wheeler Road.
