Additional to the reports of Snowy owls at Ravenshoe:

On the the snowbound carrot fields of Ravenshoe Road, West of
Leslie Street in Keswick, there were THREE Snowy owls this am
- two easily spotted because of heavy barring while the third
was pure white and difficult to make out as it looked like a
snow hump among the protruding black stumps of the north fields
where distant tamaracks form a backdrop - also seen was the
Northern Shrike, five Snow buntings, a female Kestrel South on
Leslie and a hunting Peregrine near the Richmond Hill Town
Building.

                               cheers - Stan long
