This afternoon on my daily trek into Port Elgin along the Lake Huron shore I stopped at Mirimichi Bay and spotted a Wilson's Snipe (formerly known as Common Sipe). Also present along with 300 or so Canada Geese and about 100 or so juvenile Mallards were 3 Black bellied Plover, 6 Semipalmated Plover, 4 Greater Yellowlegs, 3 Kildeer and A Great Blue Heron. Mirimichi Bay is north of Port Elgin along the shore. Turn west of Hyw. #21 at th 10th Conc. Of Saugeen towards the lake and then take the first right which is the shore road. The first bay you come to is Mirimichi bay. Yours In Birding Mike Pickup [EMAIL PROTECTED] "Mike Pickup" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
