Posting for Bruce Di Labio
This morning at 7:30 a moulting adult Eared Grebe was found at the
Aflred Sewage Lagoons. The bird was in the eastern cell and was
associating with a group of Ruddy Ducks. Birders should note that there
is no official access allowed to the lagoons.

Directions to the Alfred Sewage Lagoons
take Hwy 17 east through the town of Alfred (approx 75km east of
Ottawa), as you exit town (east end), turn right/south on the road
opposite County Road 15
(which runs north at this point, the south portion of Cty Rd 15 is
actually on the west end of
town). Go south approximately 1.5km and you will see the lagoons
on your left.
