Good morning, 

On a trip from Hamilton to Long Point on Saturday March 8, 11 Bluebirds 
were noted

4 male Eastern Bluebirds - 400 meters north of Haldibrook Road east 
side of Highway 6 about 11 am

1 male Eastern Bluebird near playground swings at back of Long Point 
Provincial Park about 1:30 pm.

5 male Eastern Bluebirds on Highway 24 500 meters south of turnoff to 
Normandale Furnace (historical) about 3:30 pm

1 male Eastern Bluebird on east side Highway 6 just north of Caledonia 
about 4:30 pm

1 male Goshawk at entrance to Long Point Provincial Park around 12:30 
pm.

References to Long Point Provincial Park are for the main park area 
past Old Cut Blvd and the lighthouse.

15+ male and 4 female Red-winged Blackbirds near the end of Old Cut 
Blvd on either side of road. The males were calling. Spring is here!!

Many Tree Sparrows were noted during the day - 5 Tree Sparrows near the 
end of Old Cut Blvd. started the counting
